Inle Lake in Burma is a 22 km long lake surrounded by temples and villages which sometimes stand on stilts on in the lake and sometimes lie on the shoreline.
The lake itself supports among others the Intha fishermen who use a peculiar way to relief their arms in their rowing boats - They use their feet to row instead. The fishing equipment is a bit different too and is lowered into the water by hand by the fisherman.
